Harcourt Hotel

I really loved to stay in Harcourt Hotel. Kirsty was absolutely amazing. Really friendly, giving all the information needed prior arrival, including parking and restaurant. I initially booked through booking website, but there was some of the days I booked that were unavailable by mistake. Kirsty contacted me instantly and we swapped the dates slightly right away. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is really good, fresh cooked just for you, and you can choose with a variety of options. The rooms are a little small, but have everything you need, included a little bar for coffee and teas. We didn't use the game room but if you like there is also a football table and a pool and darts. Just amazing!

Great spot in an old part of town. Plan your parking as there's not much with the hotel. Nice room, well prepared and clean. Walls seem thin but other residents were quiet, so no problems. Choice of breakfasts. I passed on the cereal but had an enormous Full English. Well executed, tasty and ideal for a day out and about - lunch not needed. Good people, nice place.

I stayed here back in June and we'll it was one of the best experiences and stays I've had anywhere! I travel a fair bit with work and for pleasure, All of the staff were brilliant and accommodating! The breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful, the rooms were clean and tidy! Next time me and my group are in Ilfracombe we will definitely be using the Harcourt Hotel. Thanks for a brilliant stay guy's! Absolutely amazing hotel. Fabulous service and lovely people. A very comfortable and clean atmosphere . The breakfast was delicious. Great location too! To get around easily around Ilfracombe John and Kirsty were great hosts nothing was to much for them .

I booked directly 1 night stay as I was working at Tunnels early the next day. Very friendly host, lovely big clean room. As I was leaving early I missed breakfast but they made me a packed lunch and left this for me to collect in the morning. Such a small gesture which honestly meant so much to me! I often miss breakfast due to starting early and go 6/8 without eating so having a packed lunch to eat after was a welcome change. I had a lovely undisturbed night sleep. I didn’t need to park close-by as I had already left my car near Tunnels and walked to the hotel and back in the morning.

Great place to stay. Kirsty couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Room was clean with some nice touches. Great bar with draught beer/ lager and a games room. Lovely breakfast, exactly as and when you want it. Would definitely stay again if visiting Ilfracombe.

Booking at the Harcourt Hotel was a bit of a last minute thing as I needed to extend my time in Devon due to a rail strike. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean and well-run hotel located on Fore Street right in the middle of Ilfracombe at a reasonable price. My room was well equipped and they were happy to accommodate my bike in the hotel. Apart from some very good fish & chips places in the area, the Terrace Tapas just a few doors down is an excellent place to eat, but bookings are definitely recommended. There are two very good seafood places, Take Thyme and the S&P fish shop and café, which are only open during the day, but are a great choice for lunch.

Fantastic value for money. Very friendly and accommodating staff - Kirsty went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Location is right in the heart of Ilfracombe but on a quiet street, so pretty idyllic. Lovely views of Capstone from the garden terrace. Breakfast was delicious! Would return again!
